Applying Creativity To Business - Play Work Stay
Join the attendees of Play Work Stay as they explore what creativity means to them. Play Work Stay is a creative training course for people aged 18-25 years at the start of, or considering, a creative career. The main themes of the event are creative business skills, collaboration, creativity, enterprise and health and wellbeing. It will raise awareness of the creative and cultural sectors as viable options for careers and aims to provide delegates with the skills to navigate the current jobs market which is often project-based or freelance.
Ingleton Youth Dance
Ingleton Youth Dance are a brand new, shiny, sparkling group who formed in February 2016. The group meet weekly to develop Contemporary Dance Technique, explore creative practises and create performance work, with an aim to formalising into a Youth Dance Company in the near future. The group may have only been together a couple of months, however have already been invited to perform at Ingleton Gala and the Orginate Dance Platform at the Brewery Arts Centre in July 2016 and are busy creating a brand new work. Rachel Thornton - Artist at Studio 42
Rachel is an artist and printmaker. Based in Bentham, she sells work through shows, ETSY and on her own website. The idea of being an arts therapist has always appealed to her and is something she may consider in the future but at the moment she’s delighted that she can make a living working full time solely from her art and creativity. This film is part of a resource for young people who want to develop their careers or business ideas here in the Lakes and Dales.
